The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released an Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) report confirming 400% efficiency of the EarthLinked® Heat Pump Water Heating System. The hybrid system combines a high efficiency geothermal heat pump with a standard commercial water heater tank.

As fossil fuel costs rise to unprecedented levels, one local business in Goffstown, New Hampshire hopes to curb some of its electrical expenses through the use of geothermal technology. Although plans for the new hardware building called for fuel-efficient heating and air conditioning equipment, the new ECR EarthLinked® system will save the business an average of $1,000 a month.

Florida-based thermal energy company ECR Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has adopted the new name of “EarthLinked Technologies, Inc.” to reflect its focus on renewable energy from the shallow earth for heating and cooling buildings and fluids.
